About Why Mureș

One county, one team

Why Mureș is an initiative of the Advisory Council for Business and Education of the Municipality of Târgu Mureș.

For the first time, the local and county administration, the business community and the university promote Mureș County together, as a single investment destination for international investors.

The work started with a dialogue with the local administrations across the county: identifying available land and buildings, the development needs of each community, and the projects that can attract private capital.

At EXPO REAL München, 5–7 October 2026, the Why Mureș team is at stand A1.241, part of the Romanian stand organised by the German-Romanian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Romania).
